I want to know if my model is converging or not while solving in the cloud.
Resolution
Develop a plot that shows convergence plot in the Mechanical UI.
Impact
- Users can kill diverging job and save money for not running too long models that don’t give results
- User can estimate how much longer they still have before results are ready
Mixed Licensing (Floating + AEC)

I want to first use my floating licenses and then if I don’t have enough free, I want to get the missing amount using Ansys Elastic Currency (AEC).
Resolution
Develop a routine that correctly specifies license settings.
Impact
Users will always have licenses available for them by utilizing AEC for flexibility while still taking benefit of their own floating licenses.
Newton-Rhapsody Residuals and Contact Tracking

My model did not converge, and I wish to understand what areas of the model are problematic. I want to see Newton Rhapsody Residuals and use Contact Trackers.
