tips Getting Started

App installation

  1. Download the app for your selected version of Ansys.
  2. From the Extensions menu, click the “Install Extension…” and it will open a file dialog to select and open the downloaded “*.wbex” binary file. app_install

Loading the extension

  1. From the Extensions menu, click “Manage Extension…”
  2. Mark the extension to load app_load

Start using the app

If you have upgraded from a previous version check out the What’s New section.

If you are new to Fatigue Scanning go to the Manual pages.

General support for Fatigue Scanning is not included in the “TECS” fee for the Ansys product.

Make sure to fully read the Manual and study the demo and verification models in the Downloads section.
You are always welcome to post enhancement requests or report a bug using the “Contact Support” menu.

In case of errors check if there is a newer version of the app available from the Downloads page.
You can check what Ansys and app version you are using by clicking the “About” in the Help menu.
