Known Issues and Limitations

• The following material properties are supported with the Material Variation application:

  • Density
  • Isotropic Elasticity:
    Young’s modulus, Poisson’s ratio, (Bulk modulus, Shear Modulus)
  • Plasticity:
    Kinematic and Isotropic Hardening, both Bilinear and Multilinear
  • Isotropic Secant Coefficient of Thermal Expansion
  • Isotropic Thermal Conductivity
  • Specific Heat

• Note: Unsupported properties from the material assignment on the part will be kept, e.g. creep model etc.
